I may have some information about Thomas Illsley, married to Amy. However we have always believed the family came from Derbyshire.

Thomas William Illsley born in the 1880s ? married Amy in Darfield South Yorkshire. He was a mine deputy, and one of the first members of the LAbour PArty. He once had tea with Christabel Pankhurst! There is a road named after him in Darfield. He had eight children (6 lived), thelast of whom died just last month.

My husband is the son of Alvin, the youngest child.
