I am looking for any information on Mary Iley who married James Bland of Bedale, Yorkshire some time in the mid 19th century.
All I know is that she is named on the birth certificate of her daughter, Sarah Ann in 1865 and that James was a widower on the 1881 census.
If anyone has Ileys on earlier census returns I should be very grateful to hear from them. So far I have failed to find any record of their marriage, but I should imagine that there would not have been too many Mary Ileys of the right sort of age within striking distance of Bedale.
