Hi Beau,
I am the granddaughter of Ida Willie Iley Disney. I have found where she was married to a L.E. Perine in Childress County Texas in 1920. I was just wondering if the passed or what may have happened because she married my grandfather in 1922. Only one of the daughters know of the other marriage and that is all we know. Grandmother went ahead and had a good life she owned and operated the telephone companies in this area until her death in 1965. My uncles kept the business until 1982 and sold to Alltel. She was quite the business woman. I am very patient and I am also disabled to the point I had to leave my job of 18 years I had a bad back injury and it just went from one thing to something else. I do some vol. work with the local Senior Citizens and I enjoy that very much.
I was always told my grandmother was full blood Irish but I have found that is wrong. I don't know why but family was never a topic of disscusion. So I know very little but my uncle Herb and I have been trying to find out what little we can. I contacted the lady about the book and she put my name on a list.
I have got the book on the Disney side and it is very interesting.
