Hi there! My aunt Francell died of skin cancer at the age of 62. I just returned two weeks ago from her mother's funeral, my grandmother, who died the Monday after Easter and would have been 98 on May 15 had she lived. She was Ida Elmore Baird and was born in Bridgeport Texas. She married Thomas Everett Baird and they moved to Las Cruces to manage an apple orchard and there they raised six children. My mother, Barbara Ann Baird, was the youngest, born September 27, 1942 in Yseleta TX, and the only one born in a hospital. Francell was the second child. She had Johnny out of wedlock and Kenneth adopted him when they got married; shortly thereafter, September of 1956, they had Danny. Kenneth was my favorite uncle and Danny was my favorite cousin and I would really like to find Danny now. I can get you better dates than this this weekend when I talk to my mother on the phone. I ought to start writing this stuff down for my children. I don't even know what you would like to know!
