Elizabeth I've looked through my Iley database (which is still incomplete but covers the period you want info on)and this is what I have. David Wilson Iley's parent were Thomas Iley and Eleanor Wilson. They were married on 25 Aug 1834 in Monkwearmouth, County Durham. The family were living in Bishopwearmouth in the 1851 Census. So all the births would be registered in the Sunderland area. That being so here are the births registered in that area after 1834. I don't have the original info, but you can get it from the Sunderland register office or the public record office....if you do get it please let me have the details like exact date of birth, parents etc so I can update my database....thanks!) 1839 Elizabeth Iley (June quarter, Public record office district Sunderland, district 24, page 247) 1840 James Wilson Iley (March quarter, Sunderland, 24, 234) 1842 Thomas Iley(Dec quarter, Sunderland, 24, 293) 1845 David Iley(there appear to be two entries one in the March quarter and one in the June quarter, both page 304....so it could be the same guy entred twice in error???) 1846 Mary Ann Iley (June quarter, S'land, 24, 359) 1847 Alexander Septimus Iley (note that here he is the sixth birth, but I have nothing between 1834 and 1837 in S'land area so there may have been someone born then) 1851 Margaret Ann Iley (June quarter, S'land, 24, 419) 1852 Thomas Blenkinsopp Iley (March quarter, S'land, 10a (note change in district number) 313) There are no more registered births in Sunderland till 1862 when Thomas Iley (the one born in 1842 I presume)and Isabella Tongs have a child. So I guess the brothers and sisters of David W are those listed above. But that is not definite, of course; you will have to get copies of the original certificates to verify that these children did have Thoams and Eleanor as their parents. Interestingly, Margaret Ann is listed as Mary Ann in the 1851 Census, but as the person in the census is only a month old that must have been Margaret Ann. And only David, Alexander and 'Mary' Ann were living with their parents in 1851. There were about a dozen registered deaths in the Sunderland area between 1834 and 1852, but rather than bore the pants off everybody else I'll email you them separately Jim
