Hello, I am just beginning to research my family name and would like to hear from anyone who knows anything of any use.
My parental grandfather was from N. England, he moved to Australia with one of his brothers but came back for the war effort, he settled inthen Devon after the 2nd World War. His name was John and he had a no. of siblings, I think his father's name was John also and his father died down the mines.
