Can anyone help please?
One of my ancestors was Martha ILES who married William LEONARD in Bristol on 4 Nov 1821. However I have found two possible baptisms for Martha in nearby Hanham:
27 Sept 1807 d Benjamin and Hester (aged 6)
12 Sept 1802 d Moses and Dorothy
The record of marriage in the parish register doesn't give any clue as to her parentage and so I don't know which of these is 'my' Martha.
Does anyone have information which might rule in or out one of these records please? Or even some ideas about other ways of finding out which of the Marthas is mine?
