Not sure if this is the same family but.....
My Iles ancester is Samuel Iles b 17 Aug 1745 in Bristol, England. Died 6 Oct 1842 in Rush orFayette Co.,IN. He was married to Ellen Bailey????
Their children were: HETTIE, JOHN, PEGGY, PERRY B., SAMUEL, WILLIAM, ELIZABETH b abt 1792, SARAH b abt 1796, PRISCILLA b 4 Aug 1804, STEPHEN b abt 1808. This family moved from MD to VA to KY. In KY they lived in Bracken Co. and Pendleton Co. before moving to IN
Theier grandfather was also a Samuel Iles b abt 1717.
Do not have name of his wife or where he was born.
