I found some new info on my WM Iles and don't think he is the one that married Jane as the children's names do not add up. I found a probate record for WM Iles in Lafayette Ct. MO that lists the following children
James, Henderson, Mary, William A, Ann Elizabeth, Margarett Jane, and Susannah. It has WM married to a Dianna Prudence Cowan but from the date of 1845 it must be a second marriage as he had 3 children also married about the same time. Do these names ring a bell with anyone out there? So far have not been able to place this WM in TN but looks like his son Henderson was born there in 1817.
