Hi :
I noticed that Ellen Jones married Henry D. Weld on March 9th of 1898 in Ogle County, Illinois. She was listed as the d/o Milo and Sarah. [state of illinois website]
The 1900 census of Marion township of Ogle County shows Henry and Ellen Weld. She is shown as born in June, 1870
and has a daughter Gladys born in January, 1899. Her father was born in New York and her mother in Illinois.
She again shows in 1920 with her husband Henry and two daughters - Gladys age 21 and Grace age 14. Her home remains in Ogle County.
In 1930 Ellen Weld appears as a widow (age 60) in Stillman Valley (Marion township, Ogle County). The birthplace of her father is New York.
...........In the marriage records of Illinois there is also a marriage for Alice Jones to Lucius Porter. The county is Ogle and the parents are Milo and Sarah
