I am trying to date an old photograph taken by Wheat, a photography business that was located in Rockford. I have three pictures, two appear to have been taken at the same time(this is in debate) and the third quite obivously at a different time. The one picture has an address of 107 North Church St, Rockford, the two pictures only have the Wheat name and logo. The gentleman in the one picture lived in Rockford from his entire life 1859-1924. The other two are his nieces who were born in California in 1917 and 1918 and were about 2 or 3 years old in the photographs. Does anyone have access to old city directorys for Rockford, or can anyone shed any light on the photography business, i.e. dates it was in business. Thank you
