Claude Ellsworth. Love was born in 1907 in MO, son of Edwin E. Love and Grace L. Garrison. He died Feb. 13, 1967 in Rockford, IL.
He was survived by his wife (who may have been Betty Hardy) his mother, and daughters Mrs. Jim Williamson and Miss Julie Love, and son Thomas Love. He also had a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth "Betty" Floyd of Columbus, GA.
Claude was my husband's cousin. His father Edwin and my father-in-law Ernest Love were the sons of George D. Love and Elizabeth Price Wolfe.
The story goes that Ed and Ernest had an abrupt parting after a business deal gone wrong....and the families did not get a chance to meet and bond. Edwin was in Blackwell OK. but returned to Christian Co. MO and was there until his death in 1965.
I would like to contact some members of his family. I think it is time that old wounds were healed, and I would like for my husband and his cousins to get to know each other.
We have a large family site at MyFamily.com with worlds of information and photos of the Love family, but Edwin's family is missing.
