Henry Clay "Stonewall" JACKSONwas born 8 Nov 1864 in Sumner County, TN.He died
in Denver, Denver Co. , CO. on 11 Jun 1940.He was the 4th son in a familyof eight.
His Parents were William JACKSON (22 Sep 1815 - 1 Feb 1870) and Nancy Ann
VANDERVILLE (22 Feb 1827 - 14 Dec 1886).
He was recorded in the 1880 Census of Sumner Co., TN, with his widowed mother as
head of household, he was listed as Henry C. ,age 16, and attending school.He was
again recorded in the 1885 Colorado Statehood Census with his older brother
Thomas J. JACKSON as head of Household and his younger sister Ida P. JACKSON
in Durango, Laplata Co., CO.He was listed as Stonewall, age 21, and was employed
as a clerk in a clothing store
He married Hattie Louise PARLIN in 1888 in Rico, Delores Co., CO.in 1900 Henry and
Hatie were both recorded in the 1900 Census of Silver Bow Co., Montana.Henry listed
as S. W. JACKSON age 33 and employed as a clerk, Hattie as 27 and keeping house.
In 1910 the family was recorded in the Arapahoe Co., CO Census as Stonewall
JACKSON age 45 with Hattie age 33 and one sonHenry C. age 9 b MT.
In the 1920 Census records we find In Denver, CO. Stonewall,age 54, as the
propritor of an Employment Agency with Hattie , age 45,as the bookkeeper of
the Employment Agency.
Henry Clay JACKSON ,age 18,is found at the US Navy Hospital,US Navy Yard Puget
Sound, WA.Wherehe is listed as a Pharmacist Mate 3.
Henry Clay JACKSON, age 24,MarriedGladys PERRY age 26 on 24 Jun 1924 in
Arapahoe, Co., CO.First marriage for both.
In the 1930 census records we find in Denver, CO.Stonewall JACKSON age 65,
still the propritor of his own Employment Agency, with wife Hattie L., age 57.
Also in Denver we find Henry JACKSON,age 30,as Bookkeeper for a compressed
Gas Company, with wife Gladys, age 32 and a son George F.age 34/12 born CO.

In 09/05/1939Henry C. JACKSON and Gladys were divorced.
On7 Oct 1939Henry C. JACKSON married Josephine LOVE2nd marriage for both.
On 12 Jun 1940 the Funeral Notice for Stonewall JACKSON read as follows" Stonewall
JACKSON, Husband of Hattie L. JACKSON, Father of Henry C. JACKSON and grandfather
of George F. JACKSON of Rockford, IL.Burial at Fairmont Cemetery"
On 18 Oct 1963 the Funeral Notice for Henry C. JACKSON read as follows "Henry C.
JACKSON,Husband of Josephine L. JACKSON,father of George F. JACKSON,Scotia,
Calif.four grandchildren.Burial with Military Honors Fort Logan National Cemetery."
