Thomas Miller, born in White County in 1833

My gg-grandfather was Thomas Miller, born in White County, IL in 1833. He migrated to Tennessee where he married Lenora Massie/Massey and they had a son born in Tennessee named Pleasant Greenwood Miller. Pleasant was my g-grandfather. They then moved to Ripley County, MO, where two more children were born: Nancy (in 1856) and Thomas Jefferson (in 1859). Shortly after his last childís birth Thomas Miller died in February, 1860. I have tried to find my Thomas Miller's family in White County but have had no success. Since his sonís middle name was Greenwood I wonder if the Millers had a connection with a Greenwood family in White County. Does anyone have any information on his family there? I would appreciate hearing from you if you do.
