INA SPENCER m. Unknown STURM ca, 1910
Posted by: John E. Spencer (ID *****4479) Date: August 03, 2002 at 11:00:23

I am seeking the name of the STURM that married INA SPENCER, daughter of Voullair Spencer) They were most likely married in White County, Illinois ca 1910. They had several children. After Mr. Sturm passed, Ina married a Phillips. I believe Ina was born in 1892 and died in April of 1977 with her last know residence being Grayville, Illinois.

One son was EVERETT WAYNE Sturm (1923-1999) that married RUTH SEITZ.

A daughter was WILMA LUCILLE Sturm (1925-2001) that married a CHARLES J RANKIN.

Both of these siblings had farms in rural Crossville, Illinois.

There were at least two other sons, I believe that farmed in the Crossville, Calvin or Grayville areas. Does anyone know their names or the names of their wives or descendants? Their whereabouts? It seems that one of the men had 3 daughters...I think the name of one was Bonnie Sturm ca 1940...and she was a professor in Carbondale or Charleston.

Any information will be appreciated as I am developing a site for SPENCER / KERSHAW descendants from the time of their initial arrival in Illinois in 1818 after emigrating from Lancashire, England.

John Peter Kershaw and Margaret Osswell - Elizabeth Kershaw and John Jackariah Spencer - William Spencer and Cicely Gilla - Joseph William Spencer and Mary E. Anderson - Voullair Spencer and Mary Walker - Ina Spencer and ? Sturm.

Any help will be appreciated regarding any information about these families.
