Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum
message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles
will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will
no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
The picture you have of my dad and Uncle Victor. I believe the boy in the sailor suit is probably my dad. Dad was born in 1915 and my uncle Victor was born in 1917 or 1918 (can't remember exactly without looking it up). More than likely the baby in the picture is Uncle Victor. I understand about glitches and problems with e-mail. What I sent you was a genreport from my database listing everyone that I currently have on file. Also, gave you information on formats, etc. I use Adobe Photoshop that came with my scanner. When I use floppy disks for my scans, I usually save them in JPEG format. I can get more pictures on the disk that way, and it does save time. Also, I wanted to let you know about another little tidbit of information. I know you and you wife live in Florida, so there's a possibility we might be able to get together shortly. I've been contacted by a hospital in Lakeland and they're interested in my coming to work for them. My husband and I have been planning a move to the Lakeland area for the past couple of months. He drives a semi for a living and I'm a registered nurse, so we should have no trouble finding work. Anyway, I know that Lakeland isn't too far from where you live, so maybe we'll be able to meet face to face sometime soon. Well, gotta go. Mary.
