No Maples in 1850 or 1860 census. 1870 as follows; Charles Maples, 25, born Tenn. Lucretia, 24, born Tenn. Laura, 3, born Ill. and Elizabeth 2/12 born Ill. And another; Charles Maples, 26, born Mo.Lucretia, 21, born Ill. Laura, 2, born Ill. and Elizabeth 2/12, born Ill. 1880 census as follows; Lucretia, 31, Laborer, Widow, born Ill Parents born in Ky. Laura E., 12, born Ill. Father born in Mo. Mother born in Ill. Rachel E., 8, born Ill and Elizabeth, 5, born Ill. No Maples found in White Co. census after this year. One marriage, as follows; Charles M. Maples and Lucretia Hutchcraft married Sept. 17, 1865.
