Which Storey still lives there. I thought all of the Storys there were my relatives. The name in White County has dwindled down to just a handful. John is one of the older ones still living near Old Sharon. There is a Brockett book in Historical Museum that has Storys in it, but may be wrong ones for you. It is a two volume book. Do you have Story relatives in Clinton,IL or Wapella, IL. My husband is related to those. I have the family names for that line of Storeys. Do you think yours came from the Carolinas, because the Brockett book author claims she went to the Carolinas and saw the original Storey or Story home. This is still a mystery to me about the two spellings with all Story (eys) coming to the same place in White County at the same time. I live within 100 miles of you--Crawfordsville, IN. I will try to look up my info from the Newman book (red report cover written by a Mrs. Shelton or Skelton and she is deceased I am sure.
Linda
