Sandy, I do not think that my Adams family was related to any of the other Adams families in the area. Our Adams' were separated from the family when John Adams b 1802 VA was gone for a while trading, he finally returned home to his parents, and they had moved, and no-one knew where they had gone. No doubt they thought he was dead. Our Adams are John and Ailsey Adams found on the Saline Co IL 1850 Fed. Census. Ailsey(Ainsley) Adams is on the 1860 White Co Il Fed. Census without John, so he probably died. Most all of the children that we can trace moved to Jackson Co IL, there are several others that are lost to us. Alexander was last seen in 1862 Sept in Russellville Alabama, John Q. we've also lost, plus several of the daughters. We have info on Anderson, and Thomas Adams, and a few tidbits on a few of the rest.
