Nobel L. Fitzgerrel was my grandfather, born Oct. 6, 1865. I believe that the L was for Lee. My father's name was John Marshall Fitzgerrel, named for his grandfather. His mother was Stella Fitzgerrel, nee Wright. My grandfather had been married before marrying my grandmother. He had 2 daughter during his first marriage. My father had one brother who was named just the letters N L. I really don't think that Nobel L. Fitzgerrel was Isaac. However, I believe that his grandfather's name was Isaac.

The spelling of our name is so strange that you would think the genealogy would stick out like a sore thumb, wouldn't you?
