Looking for Martha Shanon bn.abt 1838,IL. she is listed on the 1860 Clay County U.S. Census as Head of the house age 22. Theodore is listed also at 6 months. There is a James Shanon 18(Shannon)also listed.
Theodore Shannon Would be my ggrandfather. I would like to find who Martha was married to, or If she was married?
I have searched everwhere and hitting a brick wall.
Theodore Francis Shannon bn.1859 d.1904 IL.married Florence Camp bn.1859 d.1932. They had my grandmother: Florence Ethel Shannon, Blonnie Shannon Strathman, and George Albert Shannon. My grandmother, Ethel Shannon bn.1883 Mt.Erie IL d.1926 Clay City IL. married Chester Goings of Clay City, IL 1907. Please any help will be appreciated Greatly!
