I am looking for descendants of Thomas McKelvey who died 27 Apr 1885 in Warren Co., IL. He and his wife, Eleanor, are buried in Monmouth Cemetery. Thomas was born in PA in 1808 and lived for many years in Armstrong Co. and Clarion Co., PA before moving to Warren Co. in the 1850s. He left a will in Warren Co., (Will Book 4, p. 205, dated 7 Mar 1879, proved 2 May 1885.) Among his children were James N. McKelvey, who died in Warren Co. in 1925, and Clarissa McKelvey Ewing who died in Piper City, IL in 1930.
Any information about McKelvey descendants in IL or elsewhere would be greatly appreciated. I can trace the family back to the 18th century.
