First known burials in Monmouth cemetery took place in 1856, and was officially organized in 1857. It replaced the "Pioneer" cemetery just up the street. Sorry, but there are no records of a Hale buried in Pioneer cemetery, either. Few records exist concerning burials there - remnants of faded and broken markers, and newspaper reports which I believe began circa 1846 have been compiled several times by others, and no Hales are listed. I suppose there might be a chance that you could document the family's residence in Warren county through some other source, such as tax or land records.
