Hello everyone.
Family News:
A couple of you on this list will be from the Wallace/Whitman line into my
Terpening line but wanted to let you know about the Reunion and also about
my father.

In Recent months my parents health has failed them. Mother is in the
Nursing Home and Dad was and then they were out again only to return.
Mother is now in there and doing great. My father who is almost 82 years of
age, has diabetes, and with complications stemming from that and poor
circulation got sores on his feet that have went to gang greene. He is now
in the hospital in Peoria, IL, at the Methodist. The Doctor went in
yesterday and did what they call a scapping, and found that dad will have to
have both of his feet removed and how high up he is not sure. Not even sure
if Dad will allow them to be removed. Dad will find out this morning or
whenever the doctor goes in to talk to him about it. Then we go from there.

Terpening/Armstong Reunion

Otherwise everyone in the family seems to be doing okay.

It is still the same time, day, and everything. Bring whatever you can. I
won't be sending out cards this year as things have just been too hectic for
me to get this done. Hope to see some of you there and also pass the word
around as we need to keep this going. Am going to try to get this into the
papers in Monmouth, Galesburg, Peoira, and Kewanee as I have in the past.

I always have new information on people as with my web sites other relatives
seem to find me. After the first of the year I will not be doing research
for other people. Have to start getting my own family taken care of as it
tends to take the back seat when doing for others and this year we have lost
quite a few of the people. If you have any deaths, marriages, births, be
sure to bring them with you when you come or try and get them to me by email
or something. I am in the process of making a book on our family which
Aileen started and fro the past few years I have been gathering, correcting
and putting in newer information So we can all have an update hopefully next
year.

Hope everyone has a great year, and hope to see you at the reunion.
