I don't know if this is the same man but here is some info that I have:

From the 1880 Dongola, Union Co, IL census as shown by LDS:

Sidney T. JONES Son S Male W 20 NC Farm Hand NC NC

Marshal J. JONES Son S Male W 11 IL At Home NC NC
Sarah A. JONES Dau S Female W 7 IL At Home NC NC

By this census it appears Thomas was married before 1860 as Sidney T and Jane were born before the marriage to Nancy Katherine Leach.
From IL Marriage Index Thomas Jones and Mrs Catherine Groner Keller were married Union Co, IL 2 Nov 1885. JONES, THOMAS KELLER, CATHERINE GROANER (MRS) 11/02/1885 1 /131 2341 UNION (This is not proven as Thomas is shown as widowed in 1900 and Catherine is shown with daughter Cora B Keller Sheffer in 1910 and listed as widow)
From the 1900 Dongola, Union Co, IL census house #195 (changed from 196): Jones, John M June 1871 age 28 years married 5 years IL NC NC, Izetta wife Nov 1878 age 21 years married 5 years had 2 children 2 living IL IL IL, Verda M daughter Aug 1896 age 3 years IL IL IL, Dossa daughter Aug 1898 age 1 year IL IL IL, Terrel W brother Apr 1879 age 21 years single IL NC NC, Thomas father Sept 1842 age 57 years widowed NC NC NC.
I believe name is Thomas Isac as shown by IL Death Index: JONES THOMAS ISAC M/W UNK 0016517 1921-05-14 UNION ROAD DIST NO 3 21-06-10
I believe this is the Thomas Jones buried at Friendship cemetery # 109 on the cemetery transcription: Jones, Thomas 9 Sep 1842-14 May 1921 age 78 y 8 M 5 D.
Next to him at #108 is Nancy K Jones (this would be Nancy K Leach as shown by Myron Fuller gencircles site) which is probably another wife as she is listed as born 11 Jun 1838 and died 6 Jun 1885. This is only 5 months before his marriage to Catherine Groner Keller.
