There was a family of four Workmans living in Shelbyville & a family of thirteen in Twp H, Southern Division of Shelby County. Are there any descendants besides me? Isaac Workman owned farm land in H and had quite a group of Workman young men working the farm. They were probably his sons and they lived with him and his wife, Zelinda. Too young to labor in the fields was my great grandfather, John L. Workman, born in November of 1852. As with the other children, he was born in Illinois and considering the worth of the real & personal property belonging to Isaac, probably in Shelby. I would like to exchange information with others researching Workmans in Shelby Co.
