Looking for information on the family of Peter Savage who died on January 4, 1854 in Scott County, IL. He was listed in the 1850 census with his wife Martha J. Ally, 9 children, Martha's mother, and two other household members.

Did Martha J. Savage, his widow, ever remarry? Did she move from Illinois to Missouri, or to Kansas?

Peter and Martha's daughter Barbara A. Savage married my 3great-grandfather Benjamin Sheat in Missouri around 1861. I have nothing on the family other than the 1850 census information. Can anyone help fill me in? Thank you.
