Looking for descendants of Levi Walcott Chipman, Sr. (18 SEP 1804 - DEC 1875) who are still in the Schuyler County area. He had these children:
Elizabeth Chipman Lovell (1827 - after 1870)
Mary Ann Chipman Buck (1825 - 1923)
Maria Chipman Moore (1837 - 1922)
Daniel Chipman (1839 - 1910)
Rebecca Chipman Lovell (1841 - after 1900)
Samuel M. Chipman (1842 - 1907)
Levi Walcott Chipman, Jr. (1844- 1924)
David C. Chipman (1846 - 1913)
Sarah Jane Chipman Easley (1848 - 1933)
Cornelius D. Chipman (1851 - 1930)
Catherine Chipman (1853 - 1858)
Susan Chipman (1855 - before 1860)
Levi, Sr. was a younger brother of my great-great-great-great-grandfather, Stephen Chipman (1798 - 1848). Levi was born in Delaware and moved to Schuyler County, Illinois around 1845. The death date of Dec. 1875 is only what I've seen through probate records, I don't have an exact date for him, and don't even know if he is buried in Schuyler County, although I assume he is. I am working on updating the Chipman family history, and am interested in contacting as many long-lost relatives as possible. Thanks, Rick
