I checked the Illinois online marriage database after cross-referencing the 1850 and 1860 census years for Schuyler Co., IL. I found:

Mary Ann Grist married Robert Hinton 27 Feb 1845.
Children: James, Agnes, William, Sarah. If she left only three children, either Agnes or Sarah must have died.
