Eliza J. McClain was born about 1848 in Ohio. She married
William H.Pugh on March 1, 1868 in Schulyer County, Illinois.

William H. Pugh was born 1846 in Greene County, Ohio. William's parents and family moved to Iowa sometime after the 1850 census of Greene County Ohio.

Eliza and William Pugh had a son Charles W. born 1869 in Illinois according to the 1870 Census of Iowa, Mahaska County, Adams Township.

Marg/Margaret McClane (age 26) was born in 1844 in Ohio according to the 1870 census; it states that she is natural blind. She lived with William H. and Eliza J. Pugh at the time.
