SPRINGFIELD - Peter B. Orlandini, 94, of Springfield died Sunday, Oct. 8, 2006, at Regency Nursing Care Residence.
He was born Jan. 30, 1912, in Standard, the son of Erminio and Desolina Cassolari Orlandini. He married Rena Mezzacqui in 1938 in Kincaid; she died in 2003.
Mr. Orlandini graduated from Routt College in 1934. He began working in wholesale beer distribution in 1937 and later owned Stag Sales Co. and Orlandini Inc. He was a member of Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Knights of Columbus Council 364 and Elks Lodge 158.
Survivors: son, James D. Orlandini of Springfield; daughter, Diane M. (husband, Jack A.) Miller of Springfield; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral Mass: 7 p.m. Wednesday, St. Jude's Catholic Church, the Rev. Nick Smith officiating. Funeral procession will leave at 9:30 a.m. Thursday from Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home, to 11 a.m. burial in Rochester Cemetery.
