I have a margaret(h) Lang-Wychgram who according to her obituary is indicated to have been born January 08, 1842/3 in Redbud, St. Clair County, Illinois. Is there such a township or area that is no longer existing? I don't know if the St. Clair County, boundaries or that of Randolph or Monroe Counties of Illinois changed around a bit in that time frame. Can anyone please clarify? Please email me directly at mskwmagw@yahoo.com. Thank you so Kindly. Looking for John Lang and his wife Catharine nee Kolbshopp (sp?) who immigrated in 1838 or 1839. Son's Christian lang and John Lang lived in Winona, MN and their sister Margaret Lang married to Henry Lang on April 01, 1858 in Belville, St. Clair County, Illinois, then moved up to Hart, Winona County, Illinois.
