Did you find the Grimes info you were looking for? Here is a copy of an earlier post. I have been ofline for a few years. I'll see if I can get more info on William from my dad.
We are from Pittsfield, IL. James and Sarah had 3 sons and a daughter, James (born 2-9-1789 in Ireland, married Nancy Davis on 11-10-1813 in Warren Co. Ky), Henry (my line), William (deaf mute) and Betsy. James Sr. and Sarah were from Belfast, County Down in Ireland. James Sr. died in Charleston, SC. James and Nancy died in Milton, IL and are buried in a local cemetary. James and Nancy were the parents of John D., James Martin, Lucinda, Mary Jane, Wm.B, Milton, Louisa, Elizabeth Adeline, and Francis Marim. Henry was born in Feb. 1787 in Ireland, Married Hannah Blackford and died in Pearl, Il on December 13, 1860. One of his sons was Nathaniel, who had a son, Jasper, who had a son, John, whose son is my father.
