Thank you for your reply. I am aware of the reference in the Pike County History. I also know of the story about Texas. It is hard to find out info in Texas during the 1810-20 timeframe that John would have been there. John was born about 1750 and would have been 60 by 1810.

I just keep hoping that someone will have the answers to when and where Aaron was born.....too bad the 1840 US Census did not list everyone's name, age and place of birth like the 1850 Census does.....oh well!
