Am looking for information on Benjamin Phillip & Susan Welch Schoolcraft that came to the New Canton, Illinois area around 1892. They had 2 children David Nelson & Rebecca Evelyn. Benjamin served in the Civil War. Both Benjamin & Susan died in 1863. David Nelson & Rebecca Evelyn were raised by a William Minton. David married Martha McClain and had 12 daughters - Dolly, Emma, Eullyn, Faye, Geneva, Minnie, Lillie, Clara, Bertha (my grandmother), Lena, Lela, and Sarah. Rebecca married a Charles Bernard. I have some information, but would like to share with anyone else that has information on this family. Thanks.
