Thank you for your interest in my great grandfather's birthplace. I made a road trip to the areas of Nauvoo, Quincy and Barry and Pittsfield and the "Mormontown" site is some few miles outside Pittsfield and is now a field only. There were several families who settled on this plat of land and I found a map of it surfing through the Illinois Archives on line site. Thanks again. Gladys
