Church Records in 1850's

Am trying to locate a list of churches which were in Pike County in the 1850's. Also, would these churches have burial or funeral service records and where might I write to try and find them. I am searching for a death certificate or obituary record on Daniel Glynn/Glen, who died in 1851. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and have a wonderful day.
