Looking for this family: Rhoda was the daughter of Issac Ascue/Askew and Mahala Allen: 5. Rhoda Elizabeth Askew. Born in 1824 in Green County, Kentucky or TN. Rhoda Elizabeth died in 1875 in Pike Co., IL; she was 51. She was a member of the United Brethren Church. On 16/30 May 1841 when Rhoda Elizabeth was 17, she married Archibald B. McDonald, son of A. B. McDonald of Scotland and Elizabeth Unknown of NC in Baylis, Pike County, IL. Born in 1814 in Sumner Co., Tn. They had twelve children, six of which were living in 1880.
