I am searching for information on Yarrow McAllister (McCallister) born March 31, 1818 in Salem County, New Jersey. His mother died 2 weeks after his birth and his father died sometime between then and 1820. He had an older brother John and an older sister. There may be more siblings. Yarrow and his brother John moved to Pike Co. Illinois in 1839. Yarrow married twice: first to Sarah A. Taylor --children: Edwin, John, Sarah, Caroline (wife died in 1844/48 second wife: Rachel Jones--children: Rebecca, Lucretia, Cyrus, Mary A., Naomi, Huldah, James. Yarrow became a Methodist Episcopal Minister abt. 1855.
I am interested in any information on Yarrow, his parents and siblings. According to Genealogy.com Yarrow McCallister is listed in the 1850 census. He was living in Pike County. The Clan McAlister of America has no information on this line.
