Sweet Family or Gibson Family mid 1800's

Seeking information on family of Samuel O. Sweet who was born New York abt 1825 and married Amanda Melzinee Gibson in Pike County, ILL on Oct 15, 1849.

Samuel is listed on the 1850 Census as Samuel SWEAT, age 24; wife Amanda, age 20; living in Martinsburg Township,Pike County; occupation: farmer.

Marriage certificate has correct spelling as SWEET. Couple had eight children, five of whom were born in ILL. Abner, b. 1852; Gueis (Guy), also born 1852; Perry J. b. June 10, 1853 in Canton, ILL.; Pulaski H. (Plak), b. June 1856; and Mary L., b. 1859.

Family moved to Missouri abt 1863/1863 and eventually settled in DeKalb County, MO. near town of Union Star.

Trying to identify parents and any brothers or sisters of Samuel O. Sweet.
