I am always interested in learning about the Chaplin family. My great-great-grandfather was Ebenezer Chaplin who lived in Adams County, Ill. His son Simeon Chaplin married Perleta Farmer in 1847, and his son Frank Chaplin married Martha Farmer in 1852. The Farmer sisters were daughters of William Farmer of Pike County,Illinois. Ebenezer Chaplin also had two other sons who married in Illinois: Charles Chaplin who married Helen Sherman and Alonzo (Lon) Chaplin who married Minerva Hendricks. I don't know of Blackfoot heritage, but it is possible.

Please tell me about your mother-in-law's heritage. I look forward to hearing from you.
