I am looking for information on my great grandmother, Elizabeth (Lizzie) Violetta Biswell, and my great grandfather, Bill Brown. Lizzie's father was James Monroe Biswell and she was born in 1860 in Monroe Co., IL. Her mother's name was Susan Jones. Lizzie and Bill (William?) Brown sometime after 1880 as Lizzie is still living with her family on the 1880 census. I am trying to find out when and where Bill Brown and Lizzie Biswell were married. Also anything I can about Bill Brown, his parents and when he was born and where. Bill and Lizzie Brown had four children. The oldest was named Archie Brown, he was born in ILL in 1884. He died around March 9,1899. He had two uncle's Aaron and Arthur Biswell who died at the same time. (This happened about three weeks after Lizzie re married to a Charles Middleton in Ripley Co., MO) So, It may have happened in MO. I don't know what they died from. Bill and Lizzie had another son named Elmer James Brown, born 1890 and a daughter named Cora Jane Brown, born in 1886 who married a William Tomerlin. They were all born in ILL. At some time Bill and Lizzie moved to Randolph Co., AR and my grandfather, and their last child, William McKinley Brown, was born in Pocahontas, AR in 1895. I have been told that Bill Brown died before my grandfather was born, but I have not found anything yet to document it. If that is true, he would have died sometime in 1894-and before april 20th, 1895. Lizzie remarried a Charles J. Middleton in 1899 in Ripley Co., Missouri and they had a son named John Wesley Middleton who was born there in 1900. I would appreciate any information on them. Thanks
