Lavina Brown Woodford Co. Il

I have a copy of a will for William Brown who died in Woodford County, Illinois in 1845. The will lists Lavina Brown (1823 Overton County, TN - Woodford County, Il)(married in 1846 in IL to James Moore) as his daughter. I also have an obituary that lists Lavina Brown Moore's father as William Brown. William Brown was a pioneer preacher from Tennessee and family moved to Illinois.

Some entries on some lists indicate that Lavina Brown Moore's father was a Josiah Brown. Does anyone have documentation proving that Lavina's father is Josiah?
Lavina may be spelled Lovina or Levina in some records.

I do not understand the orgin of the name Josiah and if it is correct I would like proof that my documentation is wrong. Please help if you can. Thanks!
