Ira Wright and Alfred Wright, Marshall Co., ILL

Seeking an obituary for IRA WRIGHT b. 19 Mar 1791 North Carolina. He was living with his son-in-law Benjamin Mooney and daughter Phoebe Jane Wright Mooney at the time of his death 15 Sept 1868 Varna, Marshall Co.,Ill., but he was buried in Magnolia Cemetery, Putnam Co., Ill beside his wife Anna Vestal Blair Wright that had died before him 3 Oct. 1845. My hopes of finding an obituary that early back would be a wish in itself, I'm afraid. Ira and wife and children settled in the Putnam/Marshall Co. area in 1844 from Madison Co., Ohio.

I'm seeking to find an obituary for his son ALFRED WRIGHT b. 6 Dec. 1818 in Varna, Marshall Co., Ill. He died 15 Sept 1898 in the same place. His wife was Julia S. Feazel Crossland Wright. Both are buried in the First Lutheran Cemetery, Varna, Marshall Co., Ill. and can be found on Find A Grave. In a discovered box of pictures, I was able to post their photographs.
