Riley family

I am trying to find information on a Riley family who came from Ireland, I have no idea where in Ireland. All I can tell you is John Riley born 1834 and Mary Mc Donnel born 1834. They married around 1857 in Ireland where two children Edward in 1858 and Bridget in 1860 were born. The family came to United States sometime after 1860 and 1865 as a third child was born in Gilman, Iroquois Co in Nov 1865 there was a baptism record found at St John the Baptist Catholic Church not far from Gilman. I also know that John purchased two parcels of land inside Gilman before his wife Mary died in Oct 1870. There was a fourth child born 11 Apr 1868 . The youngest child was about 2 1/2 when Mary died. We have heard that the father stuck around for a short time and then just disappeared leaving the four children. Is there anyone who can help me out with this family or might have a connection to this family. Also was told that the father worked for the railroad. There is got to be someone with information on this family. The last two children were named Mary and John Francis. I would appreciate anything you can tell me about this family. Where is Mary the mother buried. We came to Gilman but could not find anything out.
