I am seeking the parents of Joseph D Marshall, born about 1823 in Pennsylvania. He died 8-4-1864 in the Civil War and is buried at the National Cemetery at Marietta, Georgia.
He was a physician/surgeon and lived in Girard, Macoupin County, Illinois.
In 1850 he was living with a James and Sarah Marshall in Clarington, Monroe, Ohio and was a student.
Any help is most appreciated.
