Constance: Thanks very much for running this down. Unfortunately, census records for John Darcy are consistent in saying that although he was born in Arkansas, his father was from Missouri. It looks like the Darcys in Grant County, Arkansas in 1870 came from Georgia or Alabama. I appreciate the help.
