I know that William bought some land in Mills Township in 1828. Now I would very much like to find out where William and Mary were prior to that. I also wonder why he didn't show up in the 1850 census.

I also have read that both William and Mary died in Bond County, but I have also read that William moved to Texas with his sons (in 1851). Are there any death notice resources for Bond County in 1869 or 1872 other than the state? A search of their online archives turned up nothing.
