Your biggest obstacle is the time frame your in. Info just isn't available due to privacy issues. The 1940 census isn't due to be released until 2012, and that's no help to you at the moment.


You may have this already, but below is what's appearing for Roy's family on the 1920 census (I don't have access to the 1930 census for them).

Have you contacted the funeral to get info on who they commuted with in the family? They may be your best bet to get a lead on who to contact and how to get the info you seek. I do find a few entries for "Machelle Terry" and I think if you try this name on a phonebook site, such as switchboard.com, you may get results and therefore could at least post a few letters and see if you contact the right one.
