I am looking for any information on the biological parents of the following five children who were fostered or adopted by John S. Williams and Sarah Barnard Williams in the late 1860s to mid-1870s in Fulton or the surrounding counties. The Williams' and the children lived in Jersey and Morgan Counties between 1870 and 1880.
John Elvis Moore Williams, b. 13 May 1861, Canton, Fulton, IL; m. Sarah Margaret CLIFFORD in Greene County; d. 04 Jan 1938, Alton, Madison, IL
Laura Belle Moore Williams, b. 06 Apr 1863, Canton, Fulton, IL, married 1) George P. MUNDI, 2) John A. CAMPBELL of Audrain County, MO; 3) John GILLIAM of Kansas City, MO; d. 12 Aug 1938, Indpendence, Jackson, MO.
Alice Lorraine Moore Williams, b. 11 Feb 1866; married William Matthew CAMPBELL (brother to the above John Campbell) in Audrain County, MO; d. 13 Dec 1950, Mexico, Audrain, MO.
Naomi May Moore Williams, b. abt. 1864; married William Green BIRDSELL in Morgan County; believed to have died between 1882 and 1891 in Fulton or Morgan County, IL.
Margaret L. Moore Williams, b. abt. 1869; believed to have died bet. 1880 and 1900 in Illinois.
The Williams family had other children as well, but I do not believe these two children were from the Moore family, due to the large time gap between them and the Moore children. They are Harry Augustus Williams and Myrtle W. Williams.
